My husband picked up the Trader Ming’s Kung Pao tempura cauliflower from the frozen section at Trader Joe’s (USA). We baked it on a rack with a pan underneath, in the oven, and it was delicious. Honestly, I think it was perfect.

Best vegan fried cauliflower we’ve ever had at home, that’s for sure. As far as I can tell from the ingredient label, Trader Ming’s Kung Pao Cauliflower Tempura at Trader Joe’s is accidentally vegan, too. Including the sauce!
At first, my husband said that he thought the fried cauliflower was good, but the sauce was not good because it is too ketchuppy … catsuppy? Whatever. 😅 You know what I mean.

However, my opinion is, the sauce is actually quite good with it. If dipping the cauliflower in the sauce, like what we were doing (instead of tossing the cauliflower in a big bowl with the sauce to coat it all over), the key is simply to use only the slightest amount of sauce. Too much sauce being too thick on there just ruins the whole thing. But was just a light amount of sauce, for me, it was perfect.

I am including my own photos of the nutrition facts label, ingredients, and instructions for Trader Ming’s Kung Pao tempura cauliflower because I could not find the information on the Trader Joe’s website.

I had actually decided that I’m not going to post pictures of ingredient labels and such because better quality vector images should be available on the company web site. I’d rather post a very nice image from the website instead of a blurry photo from my phone. However, on my first time trying to stick to my guns on this issue, I couldn’t find any official photos at the Trader Joe’s web site.

All I could find were other product reviews from regular people like me, and their photos were even worse than mine. So here you go, world. Digital photos of the packaging on this wonderful, delicious, apparently accidentally vegan, fried cauliflower tempura convenience food from Trader Joe’s.

As for my review, of Trader Ming’s Kung Pao Tempura Cauliflower by Trader Joe’s (USA), I give it two thumbs up! Super easy to make and came out beautiful and perfect in the conventional oven. No air fryer needed! 🙌

Yum!
