Power Bowl Salad with Tofu at Kansas City’s Nelson-Atkins Gallery Rozelle Court and Art Deco Exhibition

Sharing my Power Bowl Salad with Tofu at Kansas City’s Nelson-Atkins Gallery Rozelle Court and Art Deco Exhibition.

Someone I know who lives in Missouri, and it’s the part of the Missouri that’s considered in the Midwest, and not part of the South, likes to say things like, “this is Missouri, we like meat, we don’t have any vegan stuff here.” But that’s silly because obviously there are lots of vegans and vegetarians living in the Midwest and all across the USA. In addition, people who like to eat meat can equally enjoy a nice tofu and vegetable stirfry, or a salad with non-animal ingredients like beans, avocados and nuts (no meat, cheese or eggs), from time to time.

Also, for people who don’t know, in other places where people “assume” that the atmosphere is more friendly toward vegan or meat vegetarian options, in a Museum restaurant like this, they wouldn’t have any more vegan or vegetarian friendly options compared to what they had here at this Kansas City art museum, the Nelson Atkins.

I am including some photos of the art deco exhibit as I thought you might enjoy them.
