The Joe-Joe’s at Trader Joe’s (USA-based grocery store chain) are basically a store brand of Oreos (sandwich creme cookies). I’ve seen the peppermint Joe-Joe!s at Christmas time, which I really like. This was my first time seeing the Trader Joe’s cinnamon bun inspired Joe-Joe’s. Perfect time for a product review!

From a quick glance at the ingredient label on the side, the Trader Joe’s cinnamon bun inspired Joe-Joe’s appear to be accidentally vegan. It does not say vegan anywhere on the box, but this is close enough for me.
I had a chance to try them today, and I really like them. I’m a sucker for cinnamon flavored stuff like snickerdoodles. These definitely hit the spot for that kind of craving. They are cinnamony and creamy at the same time.

I am including photos of the ingredient label and the nutrition facts so that you can check them out and see if these are a snack that might work for you.
Definitely, I could have eaten more, but I stopped myself at having just two … because the nutrition facts labels says that 13 g of sugar (2 cookies) is considered to be 26% of a daily value of sugar for the day.

With 10 servings per container, theoretically this box of cinnamon bun inspired Joe-Joe’s will last me about 10 days. Wow! Since the price was $3.49 per box, that comes out to about 35 cents per sugary snack. Not too bad!
I don’t think I’ve ever shown that much restraint with a box of cookies before (eating only two per day !!???! What a concept!). I’m going to try it and see if I really can do it !
