My husband bought these at Trader Joe’s as an impulse buy: Trader Joe’s crisp crunchy crisps – Pea and Chickpea Snacks. He didn’t like them at all, but you know what, I really like them! They are subtle, not very strong flavor, but I really like the crunch. And nutrition wise, I think these are pretty good for a snack.

For 120 cal, I think it’s pretty good that they do offer some protein and fiber, since they are basically an alternative for potato chips. I don’t think regular old potato chips (which I love to eat, by the way) typically have much of anything in terms of fiber or protein.

From the ingredient list here, it looks like these are vegan and possibly gluten-free as well. Unless I missed something; If so, please just let me know, so I can correct this.

I haven’t been able to eat a good salad in a while, but I was thinking these Trader Joe’s crisp crunchy crisps – Pea and Chickpea Snacks would be really good for smashing up in a Ziploc bag and then sprinkling on a salad.

“Baby boy” eats snacks like this a lot, like the Harvest Snaps pea crisps and sometimes we find Enjoy Life lentil chips.
