Some people say that salads are bad for you because they are sugar bombs or saturated fat bombs. Usually it’s because of the salad dressing.

if you would enjoy something similar to ranch dressing, and if you don’t mind the taste of dill, and if you are not allergic to almonds, you can avoid some of those issues with this particular salad dressing. It’s cauliflower-based. Here is a photo of the ingredients from the Trader Joe’s website.

I like the taste and texture. I frequently drizzle it on top of any type of savory hot dish, not just salads. If I put together a plate of food, and I think it is too dry after heating it up in the microwave, I might drizzle some of the Trader Joe’s vegan creamy dill dressing on top. It adds creaminess, and helps to cool food down, both in terms of temperature and spiciness. I use this as a topping, similar to the way some people use sour cream or yogurt.

I also like it as an alternative to mayonnaise sandwiches or as something to drizzle on top of tacos.

Enjoy!
